The Roger Billings Scholarship Program is an opportunity for students in kindergarten through high school to participate in weekly lecture that are broadcast live over the internet. These lectures are designed to teach the importance of education and help students understand how knowledge can empower their future. This scholarship program is especially targeted at creative students with an interest in science and technology.
The weekly lecture takes place every Wednesday at 7 pm CST. If a student is unable to attend the live lecture, they can still watch the recorded version later in the week to keep their scholarship price. However, to prove their attendance, students must also comment and engage with the lecture.
It is important to note that participation in the weekly lecture is a requirement of the scholarship program. If a student consistently fails to attend or engage with the weekly lecture, the parents will be notified and the student will be placed on probation. In the event that the student continues to not attend or engage with the weekly lecture, the student’s Scholarship Program Tuition rate will not be renewed.
