How does Edu Ascend Academy work?
Edu Ascend Academy specializes in education for K-12 students and is considered a homeschool program. We offer special incentives for our high school students to also enroll in dual credit courses provided by universities. Our students also have the option to receive a certificate from IAP Career College allowing them to start a business and have special training before graduating high school. Edu Ascend utilizes the curriculum provided by Acellus, which is accredited by WASC (Western Association of Schools and Colleges) and leads to an accredited high school diploma.
As a private institution, Edu Ascend Academy charges tuition to cover its expenses, including its curriculum. A scholarship program is available to help reduce tuition costs.
- Edu Ascend Academy enrolls students in grades 8–11. Students must be enrolled for at least one year before being permitted to graduate.
- Students are enrolled in courses automatically by age. Electives are chosen in collaboration with the parent, student, and assigned mentor.
- Since each course is self-paced, students may enroll anytime during the calendar year. Students will be required to start at the beginning of each course.
- Acellus uses deficiency diagnostics and vectored instruction to adjust courseware rigor.
- Parents will receive progress reports.
- Transcripts may be requested by emailing info@eduascend.com to provide a record of the courses completed by a student.
- Edu Ascend Academy, in partnership with Acellus, awards a high school diploma to students who fulfill the graduation requirements. An honors graduation pathway is available for students who choose to take more advanced coursework and meet a minimum GPA requirement.
- High school graduates are performing well and have been admitted into top universities nationwide.
